Solid brass propane adapter with 1"x20 female throwaway cylinder thread x female P.O.L. & Acme thread. This fitting is most commonly used to connect 1 lb. bottles to grills in place of larger propane tanks. The term "Steak Saver" comes from the idea that when you are grilling your steaks and the main bulk propane tank connected to your grill runs out of gas, you can use the "Steak Saver" adapter to connect a 1 lb. little green bottle of propane and finish cooking your steaks.
